Each year, it is a welcome challenge and honor to narrow the list of faith-filled and light-bearing nominated women to just one Maryland Catholic Woman of the Year Award recipient. The good works that these women do collectively can be seen locally and far and wide. We are so grateful to them and thank them for their gifts of time, talent, and service.
This year’s Maryland Catholic Woman of the Year Award is presented to a woman who exemplifies devotion to our faith by consistently having a purposeful hand in many meaningful arenas.
Described by those who know her well as “a quietly devoted and unwavering pillar of faith,” she has served on church boards and parish councils, headed committees and book clubs, led children's liturgies and Bible studies, and is a champion for Respect Life and the Pregnancy Center North
.
She is a cheerful ICC Welcoming Committee member and likely greeted you with a smile as you entered there for Mass. As a devoted disciple and adorer, she sits with our Lord regularly in the adoration chapel.
Her commitment to the past, current, and continuing Catholic presence and leadership is clear. We are pleased to present the 2025 Maryland Catholic Woman of the Year Award to
Mrs. Marci Towle
